Terms & Conditions,Payment and Insurance 

We hope that you will feel that the fees that we charge represent good value for the level of care, service and facilities that we provide.In order to maintain this we ask that payment is made at the time of treatment, unless by prior arrangement with the veterinary surgeon.

If payment is not received at the time, a reminder will be sent at the end of the month and if not settled further charges may be added to the outstanding amount in respect of administrative costs incurred.

If, after due notice,  the account remains outstanding,  it will be referred to our Debt Collecting Agency and further charges may be incurred.

Please feel free to ask for an estimate of the fees if you are at all concerned.

For your convenience, we can accept payment by Visa/Mastercard/Switch/Delta and payment can also be made over the telephone.


As there is no NHS for pets, illnesses or conditions that require complex investigations or sophisticated treatment and medications may become expensive. We therefore advise clients to consider pet insurance as a means of securing peace of mind and spreading the cost of your pet's healthcare.

We have no links with any particular pet insurance companies but if you would like any general advice on selecting an appropriate policy, please give us a call.

We endeavour to turn around any insurance claims as quickly as possible, and have a dedicated member of staff responsible for handling this paperwork. We do not currently charge for the administration of insurance claims, but we would be grateful if you could ensure that all claims forms are correctly filled in, particularly with a signature!

Complaints and Standards

We hope that there will never be any occasion when you feel that the level of care or standard of service that we have provided falls short of your excpectations.

However, if for any reason, you feel the need to comment or complain about any aspect of your pet's care, that cannot be addressed by a conversation with a staff member, please direct these in writing to the Practice Principal, Mr MacLeod.
